"EKO Ivanjica"
Ivanjica Local Youth Parliament IVANJICA The project aims at raising awareness of young people on the importance of protecting nature, as well as on their role in that respect. In addition, the project is aiming at showing to young people all advantages of spending time in nature through different interesting workshops and lectures led by their peers within different forms of non-formal education. Organization of youth camps and actions in the nature offers to young people better choice for spending quality leisure time, and brings them closer to the nature. As far as the participation in these actions is concerned, priority will be given to young people from rural communities as well as to young people with special needs. Total funding: RSD 175.000,00
"KG Greeters" Civic Association – Kragujevac Youth KRAGUJEVAC
This project aims at establishing Kragujevac group of guides volunteers - greeters who will be in charge of introducing the history of their town to young people and after the project completion be at disposal of the Town Tourist Organization for similar activities. Greeters are tourist guides - volunteers who share their love towards the town and enthusiasm in a kind manner. Greeters are integral part of an international network of tourist guides volunteers. Global Greeter Network is a non-formal virtual association of the Greeters program globally. For the time being, in Serbia the Greeters groups exist only in Belgrade and Subotica. "Find Solution!" Youth Association "Vojvoda Stepa“ NOVA CRNJA The project comprises three phases. The first project phase includes organization of a round table which would gather all youth organizations with an aim to reach a consensus on the way of tackling youth issues. The second project phase includes organization of three rock concerts of amateur rock bands. The concerts involve a campaign with an aim to promote the project through dissemination of the printed promo material. The third project phase includes gathering representatives of youth organizations and interested individuals and representatives of local self-government with an aim to address the most pressing youth issues. Total funding: RSD 141.000,00
"Focus and Broaden Your Horizons“ Non formal youth group “PHOTO CREW” SUBOTICA
Throughout this project we intend to organize and announce a photography contest in Subotica municipality intended for young people aged between 16 and 25, who dabble in photography as a hobby. The contest will cover the following two topics: - Tolerance among youth in Subotica. - Activism/passivism of youth in a local community. After receiving all submitted applications, a jury comprising 5 young people and 2 professional photographers will select and announce the best photos. We will organize an exhibition of the best photos and hand over the prizes. In addition, we intend to present the best photos in a publication which will be published at the end of the project and distributed within the broader community. We also intend to present all project activities (initial idea, media promotion, outreach activities at schools and clubs) as a short 15-minute video made by our team. Total funding: RSD 158.800,00
"School Bell Rings for Europe " European movement in Serbia, Local Council in Zrenjanin ZRENJANIN
The project is targeting high school pupils through which they will have the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge on the European Union, learn about all advantages of youth participation in the integration process, get information on the latest Serbia's position in that respect and raise awareness on the necessity of youth participation in the promotion of European values in their community. The project contains 8 trainings/workshops, a visit of the EU official, delivery of the European lesson in front of 7 students' parliaments and media presentation. Total funding: RSD 164.000,00
"Move up,network yourself!" Youth Club Svilajnac SVILAJNAC
The project aims at enabling young people, especially Youth Offices' volunteers, to exchange experience and get to know young people from other municipalities, to share lessons learned, at strengthening youth capacities through workshops and networking of youth from Svilajnac and Sokobanja. A final joint exibition of video and photo material reflecting how young people perceive their own and other comunities and life in it is planned following three two-day workshops and round tables where some burning issues will be discussed (youth policy at the local level, youth problems, examples of best practices). Total funding: RSD 173.600,00
"Village–Town–Village – Social mobilisation“ Non formal youth group “ZRAK” PIROT
The project Village - Town - Village, social mobilization aims at encouraging interaction between young people from rural and urban communities through socializing and organization of cultural events. The project participants would spend two weekends together, one in village, and the other in town, researching the history of their community and presenting results and photos to the public. The project aims at contributing to breaking down town-village prejudices, linking, mobilizing and encouraging young people to be active and acquire public speaking skills. Total funding: RSD 121.680,00
"Living with Nature“ Non formal youth group “Uzice Youth” UŽICE
The main objective of the project is to involve young people from secondary schools in educational and recreational programs outdoors. It will raise also ecological awareness among young people. In May, June, July 2011, the project will organize activities in different locations around Uzice (creative workshops, ecological actions, school of fishing). The project foresees 8 educational and recreational visits, each of them with different theme for 80 beneficiaries in total. The project will provide skills and knowledge so that they can continue acting together and create a Section for environmental protection which will be then promoted through Facebook and local media. Total funding: RSD 170.780,00
"Enter Festival“ Sremska Mitrovica Youth Club SREMSKA MITROVICA
The project music festival "ENTER" is intended for youth from Sremska Mitrovica and neighbouring municipalities. The project aims at promotion of youth activism, revival of the alternative music scene in Sremska Mitrovica and creating opportunities for spending quality leisure time through participation in the music festival. We want to encourage youth amateur bands to promote and present themselves to the audience from Sremska Mitrovica through their participation in the music festival. The project duration is three months, from 01 May to 30 July 2011 and the music festival is planned for the last month of the project. Total funding: RSD 175.000,00
"Photo Nostalgy” Non formal youth group "INVICTUS" SOKOBANJA
The project aims at involving as many young people as possible who would dabble in photography, first at amateur and later on at the professional level. They would be able to learn the basics of photo developing including the traditional way of developing black-and-white (monochrome) photography up to the present day and digital photography. Thus, we would like to support and motivate young people and to introduce this kind of spending quality leisure time through the organization of photo galleries and exhibitions. We would also use this opportunity to present Sokobanja and its beauties of nature in the best light. Total funding: RSD 166.635,00
